An Enforcement Directorate official said that the searches would continue through the day.
A government official said that Daya Nayak had been suspended. He, however, declined to comment on what led to this development.

The ACB's clarification came after the Congress claimed Ajit Pawar was "exonerated" in lieu of his support to the Bharatiya Janata Party in forming a government two days ago.
